Chairman of the Board and Director
A Chartered Accountant (UK) / Certified Accountant (Tanzania) by training, Mr. Reginald Mengi is the owner and Executive Chairman of IPP Limited, a holding company with subsidiary companies engaged in mining, manufacturing, bottling (Coco-Cola products and Kilimanjaro drinking water), and media which includes television, radio and newspapers. Previously he held positions as the Managing Partner and Chairman, Coopers & Lybrand Tanzania, Chairman of the National Board of Accountants and Auditors Tanzania, Chairman of the National Environment Management Council Tanzania, Board Director of LEAD (Leadership for Environment and Development International), Commissioner, and Tanzania HIV/AIDS Commission (TACAIDS). He is currently Board Chairman/Board Member of a number of Institutions and Enterprises, including: Chairman, Media Owners Association of Tanzania; Director, Board of the Commonwealth Business Council; Chairman, People with Disabilities Trust Fund, Tanzania; Member of the International Investors Round Table, Tanzania; Chairman, Confederation of Tanzania Industries (CTI); Chairman, Economic Empowerment Committee of the Tanzania National Business Council; and Chairman, East African Business Council. He believes in social responsibility giving back to the community, and funds numerous projects for social development, youth employment and for people with disabilities. He has funded the Kilimanjaro afforestation campaign since 1988, which has planted over twenty million trees. Because of his belief in social responsibility, he has received numerous awards including: Environmentalist of the Century Award 2000 – Kilimanjaro Region; The Order of the United Republic of Tanzania for acts and conduct earning praise and distinction for the United Republic of Tanzania (1994); The Order of The Arusha Declaration of the First Class; and The 2008 Martin Luther King Jr. Drum Major for Justice Award by the United States of America.

Dr. Douglas Boateng has extensive international multi-sectoral experience. His career includes positions as a CEO, Executive Advisor, director and senior level consultant, visiting postgraduate lecturer, mentor and coach, vis-a-vis the strategic application of Supply Chain Management and innovative business development and management principles to profitability grow and extend market reach of profit and not for profit organizations. Sectors that continue to benefit from his expertise include among others, Technology (ICT), Education, Chemicals/Pharma-chemical, Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology, Aviation, Engineering, Media, Governments, exploration and mining. Director
Mr.Naiko currently serves as the managing director of Stesta Consulting, a firm focusing on among other things, mining advisory services. Mr.Naiko is a qualified mining and metallurgical engineer and a professional member of the American Society of Mining Engineers and Metallurgists. In 2011, Mr.Naiko retired after five years as Chief Executive Officer of the Tanzanian Investment Centre. Mr.Naiko’s extensive experience during the course of his career includes serving in the following positions: Vice President, World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA); board member, Tanzania State Mining Corporation; board member, Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation; board member, Bank of Africa; board member, Tanzania Private Sector Foundation; board member, Maganga-Mtatitu Iron Project; and board member, University of Dar-es-Salaam Investment Committee.
Mr.Naiko graduated from the Haileybury School of Mines (Canada) and Colorado School of Mines (USA). He also holds investment educational certificates from the Centre for Applied Studies on International Negotiations (Switzerland), NanningTechnologicalUniversity (Singapore) and the Hans Seidel Foundation (Germany).
